How to Make Every Day a 10 Out of 10
Hey, it's Deep.
I used to send these emails once a week, but now it's going to be once a day.
If that doesn’t work for you, hit the unsubscribe link at the bottom of this email, and I promise, no hard feelings.
Yesterday, we talked a bit about your perfect day. If you missed it, you can read it here.
I described mine, which starts at 4 AM, includes a bike ride in the middle of the day, and ends with me and my wife just hanging out after the kids go to bed.
It’s not that exciting, but I’d consider it a 10 out of 10. It'd be what I’d do if money wasn’t an issue.
But money still is an issue—and I carry on as if it wasn't.
So, how much can you get away with in your day that makes it look like a 10 out of 10?
If you thought a bit about all of this in yesterday’s email, then good!
I want you to reply to me again. I’m here at my laptop, waiting to hear from you.
What can you do in your day right now, that you—as a super-rich sheik-type oligarch—would do?
Tell me!
If you work from home and have the flexibility, you might be closer to a 10 out of 10 than you would be if, say, you had to commute to an office for an hour a day.
But that’s okay. A little bit of perfect is better than nothing.
Start there and start working towards a perfect day that you couldn't fault even if you tried.
You might find that what you planned to do to get to your dream isn’t necessary, and that you can achieve a lot of what you want without making too many changes.
Maybe the job isn’t such a drag after all. Maybe your job serves you now, instead of you serving it.
This is an exercise in taking ownership of your life rather than letting life own you.
If you’re at this point in the email, just scroll back up and read it again and take some time to think about this.
Keep in touch with me on it, and I’ll write to you again tomorrow.
Deep
