Can You Describe Your Perfect Day?
Hey it’s Deep.
Do me a favor and imagine that money isn’t a problem and describe your perfect day.
What does a 10 out of 10 day look like to you?
If you know the answer, reply to this NOW and tell me!
But if your perfect day is hard to define, don’t worry. You’re not alone.
We spend so much time thinking about starting a business or escaping the 9 to 5 that we forget what the end goal looks like. What the point of it is.
We’re thinking short term, or at least in very broad strokes.
“I want to have freedom to do what I want. To be my own boss.”
That’s good, but not specific enough, so have a think about what your day would look like if money wasn’t an issue.
Don’t tell me about what you’d buy, but do tell me what you’d be doing.
This should be the end goal. Living the life you’ve just imagined.
As an example, my perfect day is waking up early enough that I can do stuff while the kids are asleep. That’s 4am.
I journal, exercise, and meditate.
And once the kids are fed and out of the door, I get to work at around 9am.
Work is writing and coaching calls, and in-between, a walk or bike ride.
It’s 3pm now and once the kids are back from school we spend time doing stuff together.
And after an early dinner, we watch a bit of TV before sending the kids to bed at around 8ish, and then wind down with my wife.
That’s a perfect day to me. This is what I’d do if I won the Powerball.
So what about you?
Think about it and reply to this email with your perfect day and tomorrow I’ll tell you what to do with this information.
